Spellbound: Grimoire Locations and Trysha Rescue

For Spellbound, keep genuine grimoires for Trysha and make copies before committing books to Myrddin's separate request. The quest continues after book delivery with a magical emergency at Eini's Home. This walkthrough includes the rescue and skill rewards.
Start at Eini’s Home
Travel north of Melve to Eini's Home and speak to Trysha when her grandparents are away from the conversation. She asks for books to study magic. Keep track of her request separately from Myrddin's Sorcerer's Appraisal.
Grimoire location checklist
Find Fulminous Shield at Dudley's shop in Melve and obtain Towering Earth from Waldhar after meeting him during The Caged Magistrate. Howling Blizzard and Nation's Death Knell share a chest in Waterfall Cave. Let There Be Light is upstairs in Myrddin's home in Checkpoint Rest Town.
Prepare for the collection trip
Waterfall Cave has dangerous encounters, including the enemy triggered by the grimoire chest. Prepare your party before treating it as an early easy detour. Myrddin can object to taking his book, so avoid collecting it under his direct observation.
Originals and forgeries serve different requests
Ibrahim's Scrap Store can copy the grimoires before delivery. Reserve the authentic books for Trysha and use copies for Myrddin if you want both quest reward paths. Check item names carefully because a forged title differs from the genuine one.
Return after Trysha studies
After giving Trysha her books, follow the journal's instruction to visit again after time passes. When her magic becomes uncontrolled, evade her spells and wait for her to tire. Approach and grab her once she is exhausted rather than attacking her.
Recovery and skill rewards
Allow Trysha to recover and return to speak with her and Eini. The reward path includes Conjurer's Jottings for Meteoron and Enchanter's Almanac for Celestial Paean. Use the teaching items on the appropriate character and check skill availability at a vocation guild.
If progress stalls
Confirm you returned after sufficient time and that Eini is alive. The published walkthrough reports stalled progress when she was dead, so check the morgue if she has disappeared. For the separate Sorcerer unlock itself, follow Vocation Frustration; receiving a teaching item is a different step from unlocking a vocation.
