Hunt for the Jadeite Orb: Location, Forgery and Choices

The Jadeite Orb is sold at Ibrahim's Scrap Store in Checkpoint Rest Town. Both Offulve and Everard want it, but Everard has its authenticity checked. Decide whether to commission a forgery before handing away the original.
Meet the two claimants
Speak to Offulve near the town's oxcart area and Everard around the shopping streets. Their requests concern the same object. Check which conversations you have completed before choosing a recipient.
Buy the orb at the Scrap Store
Visit Ibrahim's Scrap Store in Checkpoint Rest Town and inspect the goods for sale. Buy the Jadeite Orb for 7,500 gold. You do not need to search a wilderness cave for this item.
Create a forgery before delivery
If you want to fulfill both requests, ask Ibrahim to copy the orb while you still possess it. The forgery costs 2,000 gold and takes time to prepare. Return after the shop's waiting period and collect the copy before starting either handover.
Compare the two deliveries
Giving the real orb to Everard passes his appraisal and earns 12,000 gold plus the Ring of Skullduggery. Offulve accepts a forgery and awards 3,000 gold plus an Elite Camping Kit. This pairing collects both rewards, but your decision also determines whether you deceive Offulve.
Why the fake can cause trouble
Everard asks Ibrahim to authenticate his orb. Passing him a fake without arranging the appraisal can result in arrest. Bribing Ibrahim to approve a forgery costs up to 12,000 gold, so consider the expense before treating it as a money-making route.
Keep track of the original
Read each item label in the handover screen and keep the genuine orb separate from its copy until you have decided. If you already gave away the original, your available choices have changed; reopening a guide cannot reverse that transfer. Prioritize the timed Rodge rescue if it is active while you are waiting in town.
